Washington D.C. Mayor Bowser Breaks Ground For The New Douglas Bridge
Mayor Muriel Bowser break ground for the new Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge Groundbreaking Ceremony and requests the public to join Mayor Muriel Bowser and DC residents as they celebrate this historic event that represents the growth and transformation of the District of Columbia. The work is part of the South Capitol Street Corridor Project, the largest public infrastructure project in the history of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), which is managing the project. The project includes replacement of the 68-year-old Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge and reconstruction of the Suitland Parkway/I-295 interchange on Tuesday, February 13,2018.
